In this issue, we reflect on our time at the British Holiday & Home Parks Association (BH&HPA) Conference and announce our Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for our customer service. We reinstate the importance to review your policies to avoid underinsurance and inform you of the changes to winter precautions.

We were excited to be at the BH&HPA Conference this February, held at the Bournemouth International Centre. Covid robbed us of so many things but the opportunity to come together as an industry, discuss some important trends and issues, and more importantly have a good time, were some of the things we’ve missed.

It was a busy couple of days for the Compass team as we exhibited, held workshop sessions and met with many BH&HPA members.

Premiums/Rate Increases

Our park business cover remains market-leading and provides valuable cover. The rates sitting behind the premiums we charge have remained static for some years; but with inflation in the wider economy, the challenge of supply chain delays and demand which has increased claims costs, there is an inevitable knock-on effect on premiums currently being charged.

As a result, parks are likely to see insurance premiums increasing in the coming year. We understand that price increases are never good news, but we have delayed and minimised these changes for as long as possible.

Feefo Trusted Service Awards

Compass Insurance are proud to announce that we’ve won a Feefo Platinum Trusted Service Award for our customer service in 2022!

To win this award, we had to collect at least 50 reviews between January 2021 and 31 December 2022 and achieve a Feefo service rating of at least 4.5 for three consecutive years – which we’ve done!

Georgie Dovey with her 10 Year's Service Award

Huge Congratulations to Georgie Dovey!

Our Credit Controller Georgie Dovey reached an amazing milestone this spring as she celebrated 10 years with Compass.

Georgie started her career with Compass in 2013 as a Customer Service Advisor in the Direct Team, before moving across to the Commercial Team as a Claims Handler then into Finance as a Credit Controller. Georgie commented, “I have been lucky to have worked with great people, being given the chance to progress my career within Compass and build a solid career in insurance.”
