In this issue, we look back on our time at The World of Park and Leisure Homes Show and look ahead to future events that we are excited to be attending. We take a look at what our Regional Account Managers (RAMs) get up to when they are out and about and also provide you with some tips on how to stay safe during a heatwave!

The World of Park and Leisure Homes Show
In June, we exhibited at The World of Park and Leisure Homes Show held at the NAEC in Stoneleigh. Being extremely lucky with the weather over the four days, we greeted numerous visitors to our stand, gifting them with one of our reusable goody bags that contained: A frisbee, a notepad, a pen, a trolley coin, and a tin of mints (all Compass branded of course!).
We had a fantastic time at the show, and loved meeting so many of you!

How to Keep Safe During a Heatwave
Whilst you can’t prevent a heatwave like the ones seen recently, you can control your response to it and immediately implement a plan to keep your holidaymakers and employees safe.
Here are a few things to remember:
- Remain vigilant
- Stay hydrated
- Allow short and regular breaks for staff
- Ensure that regular risk assessments and daily inspections are carried out in areas of water

Day in the Life of a RAM
Our Regional Account Managers (RAMs) are always out and about visiting parks, going to events, and networking across the UK.
In April, Gareth Thomas visited the Cumbria Branch of the BH&HPA (British Holiday and Home Parks Association) and attended a social get-together at Muncaster Castle in the Lake District, and Stuart Lindsay attended a social get-together for the Yorkshire Coastal Branch, at Beverley Races.
